Thank you so much. Highly recommend. Got tiles on my roof fixed and cleaning of guttersPosted on Google vinod mosesTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We recently used Singh Roofing and Tiles for roof pointing, roof cleaning, gutter cleaning, and some additional work around our house. During the extra work, there was a misunderstanding about the scope of the job. Lucky came out personally, took the time to explain everything clearly, and resolved the issue in a very professional and honest manner. I really appreciated his transparency and the way he handled the situation. In the end, everything was completed to a high standard, and the workmanship was exceptional. We're very happy with the final result and would confidently recommend Singh Roofing and Tiles to anyone looking for quality roofing services.Posted on Google Faze Tech ReviewsTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Highly recommend Singh roofing, completed the job with full care, they knew what needs to be donePosted on Google Dane LaiTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Lucky and his guys do fantastic work, a work colleague recommended them to me as they had restored his roof recently and now that they've worked on my property, I can absolutely back that recommendation. I originally called them to check some buckling tiles and do a quote to repair those tiles only, but Lucky showed me photos of the poor state of the roof after many years of neglect by the previous owners and recommended a roof restoration. I attached photos of before and after Singh roofing worked their magic and the roof looks brand new, I cannot fault their work.Posted on Google Julio DeeTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. This could easily have been a 1-star review, but their integrity turned it into a 5-star experience. I had a new ducted fan installed and tested - my humidity sensor confirmed it worked perfectly. I then needed a vent, so I contacted Singh Roofing (SR). They provided a reasonable quote, I approved it, and a low-profile vent was installed within a couple of days. However, the humidity sensor then showed moisture lingering for a very long time after showers. After doing a quick check in the roof and some research, I contacted SR to report I had an issue and suggested the duct length might be the cause. I was told it wasn’t too long, that this was a standard install for them, do it this way all the time, and that the issue must be with the fan. Being told the fan was the problem was frustrating, and after some back and forth, despite me explaining it worked fine prior, I was eventually told they had to go as they had other calls waiting. At this point I was even more frustrated. I got on the roof and after some time found the issue: the backdraft flap couldn’t move. The way the ducting had been installed effectively reduced the diameter at the fan outlet, preventing the flap from opening freely (which is required for proper exhaust and backdraft prevention). After emailing photos and video evidence, SR responded first thing the next morning and arranged to come out and fix it. The vent installation on the roof tiles appears excellent (to the best of my knowledge), but what really stands out is their willingness to acknowledge the issue and promptly rectify it. That’s what makes this a 5-star review. The only thing that could have been better is if they had offered to come and review it after I reported the issue, and taken on board that it had been working perfectly beforehand, rather than me having to get on the roof myself. One slightly cheeky moment: during the fix, I was told “I can remove the flap”—which of course defeats its purpose, and I said as much. That said, I personally watched the repair, tested the flap before reattaching the duct to the fan, and the final result was an excellent job.Posted on Google Raffles KrisTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Had a leaking roof under my solar panels which were installed 3 years ago. Lucky (that's his name), came in a couple of days later, took away a few tiles, crawled into the ceiling and identified two leak spots. The seal for the electrical to the panels had deteriorated. Lucky fixed the leak and replaced a damaged tile without fuss. Excellent work!Posted on Google L TTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Melbourne’s climate is exceptionally hard on roofs. Sudden temperature swings, hail, southerly storms, and UV degradation all accelerate the failure points we see every week. Here’s the breakdown from our repair history:
38% Cracked or Broken Roof Tiles: Temperature extremes cause terracotta and concrete tiles to hairline-crack over time. Hail damage and foot traffic accelerate the problem. Roof tile leak repairs are our most common job across Melbourne’s western suburbs.
27% Failed Roof Flashing: Corroded or poorly sealed flashing around chimneys, skylights, vents, and walls is the second most common cause. Roof flashing repair is critical on homes built before 2000, when galvanised steel flashings were standard.
19% Blocked Gutters & Overflow:Overflowing gutters, especially in leafy suburbs, cause water to backflow under the first row of tiles and into the ceiling cavity. Often misdiagnosed as a tile problem. Gutter cleaning Melbourne prevents this entirely.
16% Rusted Valley Iron: Rusted or damaged valley irons allow water to penetrate where two roof planes meet.
From a single cracked tile to emergency storm damage across an entire roof, our leaking roof repair contractors Melbourne team handles the full scope using advanced detection technology and Melbourne-proven materials.
We use FLIR thermal imaging cameras, professional moisture meters, dye testing, and smoke testing to find hidden entry points with precision. Water commonly travels up to 6 metres from the true entry point, which is why visual inspection alone misses 40% of leak sources.
Tools we use: FLIR thermal imaging, professional moisture meters, dye testing, smoke testing for hidden gaps.
Our qualified roof plumbing Melbourne team repairs box gutters, downpipes, and drainage systems. Poor drainage is a leading cause of recurring leaks that other roofers miss entirely.
We repair: Box gutters, valley gutters, sumps, overflows, downpipe connections, gutter leaks.
Failing or corroded roof flashing is the most underdiagnosed cause of persistent roof leaks. We repair or replace chimney flashings, skylight seals, penetration flashings, and step flashings using Colorbond® and polymer-backed materials designed for Melbourne’s UV and thermal cycles.
Specialties: Chimney flashings, skylight sealing, penetration flashings, custom valley iron fabrication.
Cracked, slipped, or missing tiles are replaced using colour-matched materials from Melbourne’s major suppliers. Ridge cap repairs include re-bedding with flexible polymer compound, the modern standard that outlasts traditional cement pointing by 15+ years.
We handle: Terracotta tiles , Concrete tiles , Slate , Ridge repointing.
Hail and severe storms are the #1 insurance claim trigger for Melbourne homeowners. We provide 2-hour emergency response, emergency tarping, comprehensive damage reports, and insurance assessor liaison, so you can focus on your family, not paperwork. For active storm damage needing on-site help right now, contact our emergency roof repair team.

For flat roofs, low-pitch sections, box gutters, and balconies, we apply professional-grade waterproof membranes that prevent ponding water from penetrating the structure. Roof waterproofing Melbourne is also a key part of our roof leak prevention and repair program for older homes.
We provide: Flat roofs , Box gutters , itemized quotes, Balconies , Membranes .
We inspect the full roofing system, not just the area above the ceiling stain. Thermal cameras and moisture meters map exactly where water is entering, even when it’s travelling metres from the visible damage.

Temporary measures such as emergency tarping can be installed during rain, with permanent repairs completed once conditions are safe.
Water rarely drips from directly above where it appears on your ceiling, it typically travels through insulation and rafters for 1-6 metres before dripping. Common signs of entry include cracked or slipped tiles, corroded or lifted flashing around chimneys or skylights, blocked gutters causing backflow, and rusted valley iron where two roof planes meet. Professional roof leak detection Melbourne using thermal imaging is the only reliable way to locate hidden entry points without tearing open your ceiling.
Home insurance in Australia typically covers sudden roof damage caused by storms, hail, or falling trees, this includes most storm damage roof repair scenarios. Damage from gradual wear, lack of maintenance, or pre-existing problems is usually excluded. Singh Roofing provides detailed photo reports, scope-of-works documents, and direct assessor liaison to support your claim. We’ve helped hundreds of Melbourne homeowners successfully process storm damage claims through their insurers.
Roof leaks usually worsen during rain and appear near ceilings or external walls, while pipe leaks can occur even in dry weather. A professional inspection using moisture detection tools can accurately identify whether the leak is from the roof or plumbing.
Yes. Singh Roofing repairs leaking terracotta tile roofs, concrete tile roofs, Colorbond® and corrugated metal roofs, slate roofs, flat membrane roofs, and low-pitch roofing. We work on everything from Federation-era Melbourne homes to modern construction. Our metal roof repair and tile roof repair Melbourne pages have more specific information.
Most minor repairs can be completed within a few hours once the leak source is identified. More complex leaks involving extensive damage or difficult access may take longer and are confirmed after inspection.
Yes, a slow drip that seems minor can, over weeks or months, saturate roof insulation (reducing its effectiveness permanently), begin rotting timber rafters and ceiling joists, allow mould growth that requires specialist remediation, and create electrical hazards near ceiling lights and wiring. The cost to fix a small leak is $300–$500. The cost to repair the consequential damage can be $5,000–$20,000+. Early roof leak prevention and repair is by far the most cost-effective approach.
Singh Roofing guarantees a 2-hour emergency response for active leaks across Melbourne metropolitan area. We cover all suburbs from the CBD to Werribee, Point Cook, and beyond. Same-day emergency tarping protects your home from further water damage while permanent repairs are arranged. There is no after-hours surcharge, the same transparent pricing applies 7 days a week.
For genuine emergencies, a tarp over the affected area and a bucket to catch water inside are reasonable short-term measures until a professional arrives. We’d caution against climbing onto a wet or damaged roof yourself, and against silicone or hardware-store sealants as a “fix” — they typically fail within months and can mask the real problem, making it harder for a roofer to diagnose later.
Every hour you wait, water is doing more damage. Get a free inspection from Melbourne’s most trusted roof leak specialists, 2-hour emergency response, 10-year guarantee, no call-out fees.
