Thank you so much. Highly recommend. Got tiles on my roof fixed and cleaning of guttersPosted on Google vinod mosesTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We recently used Singh Roofing and Tiles for roof pointing, roof cleaning, gutter cleaning, and some additional work around our house. During the extra work, there was a misunderstanding about the scope of the job. Lucky came out personally, took the time to explain everything clearly, and resolved the issue in a very professional and honest manner. I really appreciated his transparency and the way he handled the situation. In the end, everything was completed to a high standard, and the workmanship was exceptional. We're very happy with the final result and would confidently recommend Singh Roofing and Tiles to anyone looking for quality roofing services.Posted on Google Faze Tech ReviewsTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Highly recommend Singh roofing, completed the job with full care, they knew what needs to be donePosted on Google Dane LaiTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Lucky and his guys do fantastic work, a work colleague recommended them to me as they had restored his roof recently and now that they've worked on my property, I can absolutely back that recommendation. I originally called them to check some buckling tiles and do a quote to repair those tiles only, but Lucky showed me photos of the poor state of the roof after many years of neglect by the previous owners and recommended a roof restoration. I attached photos of before and after Singh roofing worked their magic and the roof looks brand new, I cannot fault their work.Posted on Google Julio DeeTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. This could easily have been a 1-star review, but their integrity turned it into a 5-star experience. I had a new ducted fan installed and tested - my humidity sensor confirmed it worked perfectly. I then needed a vent, so I contacted Singh Roofing (SR). They provided a reasonable quote, I approved it, and a low-profile vent was installed within a couple of days. However, the humidity sensor then showed moisture lingering for a very long time after showers. After doing a quick check in the roof and some research, I contacted SR to report I had an issue and suggested the duct length might be the cause. I was told it wasn’t too long, that this was a standard install for them, do it this way all the time, and that the issue must be with the fan. Being told the fan was the problem was frustrating, and after some back and forth, despite me explaining it worked fine prior, I was eventually told they had to go as they had other calls waiting. At this point I was even more frustrated. I got on the roof and after some time found the issue: the backdraft flap couldn’t move. The way the ducting had been installed effectively reduced the diameter at the fan outlet, preventing the flap from opening freely (which is required for proper exhaust and backdraft prevention). After emailing photos and video evidence, SR responded first thing the next morning and arranged to come out and fix it. The vent installation on the roof tiles appears excellent (to the best of my knowledge), but what really stands out is their willingness to acknowledge the issue and promptly rectify it. That’s what makes this a 5-star review. The only thing that could have been better is if they had offered to come and review it after I reported the issue, and taken on board that it had been working perfectly beforehand, rather than me having to get on the roof myself. One slightly cheeky moment: during the fix, I was told “I can remove the flap”—which of course defeats its purpose, and I said as much. That said, I personally watched the repair, tested the flap before reattaching the duct to the fan, and the final result was an excellent job.Posted on Google Raffles KrisTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Had a leaking roof under my solar panels which were installed 3 years ago. Lucky (that's his name), came in a couple of days later, took away a few tiles, crawled into the ceiling and identified two leak spots. The seal for the electrical to the panels had deteriorated. Lucky fixed the leak and replaced a damaged tile without fuss. Excellent work!Posted on Google L TTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. My name is Laurie and and l highly recommend Singh Roofing. I had a fantastic experience from start to finish. They are very professional and communicative. Lucky is very knowledgeable gave me honest advice and the job was completed very well. Lucky and his team did an excellent job!
After inspecting thousands of Melbourne roofs since 1994, the pattern is consistent: the roof covering – tiles, Colorbond, slate is rarely the problem. The water gets in through the system designed to stop it.
Most competitors will patch the obvious entry point. We trace water back to its source, which means the fix holds and you’re not calling someone back in six months.
| Problem | Likely Cause | Recommended Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Ceiling water stain | Failed flashing or rusted valley | Flashing or valley replacement |
| Gutter overflow | Blocked, undersized, or incorrect gutter fall | Clean, resize, or re-pitch gutter system |
| Leak near skylight | Skylight flashing deterioration | Full skylight flashing reseal or replacement |
| Drip near chimney | Corroded chimney flashing | Step flashing or apron flashing replacement |
| Wall damp after rain | Overflow at parapet or wall flashing | Parapet cap and flashing repair |
| Basement seepage | Stormwater overflow near foundation | Downpipe reroute and drainage upgrade |
As trusted local Melbourne roof plumbers, our complete roof plumbing services in Melbourne cover every component of your rainwater management system, from the ridge to the stormwater connection.

We use systematic inspection to locate the exact source of roof leaks from failed flashing to cracked valleys and deteriorated seals. Early detection prevents costly internal damage to ceilings, walls, and timber framing across Melbourne homes.

Flashing seals the critical joints where your roof meets walls, chimneys, skylights, and valleys. Damaged or corroded flashing is the #1 cause of persistent roof leaks in Melbourne. We repair and replace all types using genuine Colorbond® materials, correctly formed and sealed.

Undersized or damaged gutters cannot handle Melbourne's heavy summer storms. We install, resize, and replace gutters, downpipes, and fascia covers in genuine BlueScope Colorbond® steel — correctly profiled and sized to your roof's catchment area and fall requirements. For a full system upgrade, see our gutter replacement across Melbourne service.

All our Colorbond® roof plumbing uses genuine BlueScope steel — not imported imitations that degrade within years in Melbourne's conditions. We install gutters, downpipes, flashings, valley liners, ridge cappings, and roof vents across the full Colorbond® colour range.

Blocked or failing stormwater systems cause foundation damage and basement flooding. We repair and upgrade stormwater drainage connections, rainheads, box gutters, and sumps across Melbourne ensuring water exits your property safely during peak storms.

Commercial properties require higher drainage capacity and strict NCC compliance. We provide full commercial roof plumbing services for warehouses, offices, retail centres, schools, and industrial facilities including box gutter systems, internal drainage, and large-capacity downpipe runs.

Water entering your home during a storm cannot wait. Our emergency roof plumbers respond across all Melbourne suburbs from the CBD and inner suburbs to the outer western growth corridor with rapid inspection and immediate stabilisation to prevent further damage.

Melbourne's heritage homes particularly in Essendon, Carlton, Fitzroy, Yarraville, and Williamstown require specialist box gutter knowledge. We design, fabricate, and install custom box gutter systems that match heritage profiles while delivering modern drainage performance.
Melbourne’s weather is unpredictable. Storms can arrive with little warning and when they do, your roof plumbing is under maximum stress. A blocked gutter in Essendon or failed flashing on a heritage terrace in Carlton can result in thousands in ceiling and structural damage within hours.
Delaying these issues leads to internal water damage, mould growth, timber rot, and significantly higher repair costs. If water is actively entering your home right now, read what to do if water is dripping from your roof while help is on the way, or call immediately.

Yes, but they’re closely related. Roof plumbing focuses on managing rainwater through drainage systems (gutters, downpipes, flashing, valleys). A leaking roof is often caused by failed roof plumbing components, but the leak itself may require separate remediation. Singh Roofing handles both — see our leaking roof repair Melbourne service, or read the difference between a roof plumber and a roofer for more detail.
A roof plumber manages rainwater drainage systems — gutters, downpipes, flashing, valleys, rainheads, box gutters, and stormwater connections. In Victoria, all roof plumbing must be completed by a VBA-licensed professional. Singh Roofing (Lic. #130463) is a Melbourne-based roof plumbing company with 30+ years of experience and 300+ five-star reviews, handling both residential and commercial roof plumbing across all Melbourne suburbs.
Yes. Under Victorian law, all roof plumbing work must be performed by a VBA-licensed roof plumber. Unlicensed work can void your home insurance, fail council inspections, and create safety risks. Attempting roof plumbing repairs yourself also risks further water damage and injury working at height — always engage a licensed professional. Always ask for a licence number before hiring; Singh Roofing’s VBA Licence is No. 130463.
The most common causes in Melbourne are: blockages from leaf litter and debris (particularly in autumn), undersized gutters that can’t handle storm intensity, incorrect fall/slope causing water to pool, sagging sections from corroded brackets, and failed or undersized downpipes. Regular gutter cleaning prevents most of these triggers — read why gutter cleaning matters for more detail. Melbourne’s unpredictable summer storms and autumn leaf-fall are the primary seasonal triggers.
